What do you want to do?

Choose the task you need. Each guide explains the controls, the result to expect, and what to check when something does not work.

Set up Awthy

Start with installation and setup, then check your plan and available features. Moving from another plugin? Use the migration guide for Wordfence Login Security, WP 2FA, or Two Factor.

Protect account access

Open account security to configure your sign-in methods. Follow the guides for passkeys, trusted devices, active sessions, or customer 2FA.

If you cannot complete sign-in, use login recovery.

Protect and investigate a site

Set up brute-force protection, IP access rules, or a custom login path. Review known-threat scans and file changes. For a current incident, start with incident response.

Review activity and receive alerts

Use the audit log to find events and audit insights to understand patterns. Configure notifications, login alerts, or webhooks.

To keep audit records outside WordPress, follow audit export and connect Amazon S3 or Google Drive.

Manage sites in Hub

Sign in to Hub, connect a WordPress site, and manage company members and client access. Use Hub reporting and automation for reports and alerts across your permitted sites.

Back up or restore a site

Use Backups and storage to check recovery points, schedule private copies, or download a complete backup. Follow Restore a WordPress site for a lost host or compromised site.

A full site backup is different from an audit export. Restoring a site is different from recovering your login.

Get help

Start with troubleshooting. Prepare a configuration report or support evidence when needed. Site owners can follow support desk recovery; authorized server operators can use WP-CLI recovery.

For developers working on Awthy itself, use the repository's developer onboarding guide.
